Make-up is one of the parts of an event that can’t be redone. If it goes wrong, there’s no fixing it halfway through the ceremony. That’s why we’re careful about who we work with, and why Mel’s Glamm Make-up has become a name we trust.
From our very first collaboration on the production of the Women in Justice documentary to our various projects spanning filmmaking and event styling, it has always been a pleasure working together.
What we look for in a make-up partner
- They arrive on time. On an event morning, a late make-up artist delays everything: photographs, transport, and the ceremony itself.
- They listen first. A good artist asks what the client wants and what they’re comfortable with before picking up a brush.
- Their work lasts. Weddings and long events mean heat, tears, hugs, and hours of photography. The make-up has to look good at 8am and still look right at 10pm.
- They look good on camera. Make-up that looks fine in person can look different under flash or video lights. Our photographers and the make-up team work together to make sure it translates.
- They’re easy to work with. Calm, courteous and organised, with the bride, the bridesmaids and the rest of our team.
Working with partners like Mel’s Glamm lets us offer make-up as part of our full event service with confidence. When you book with us, you know the artist has been vetted and has worked with our team before.
